We install new aluminium windows, doors and skylights as well as tending to maintenance, repairs, leaks and draughts of existing aluminium joinery.

Aluminium joinery is the most commonly used framing in New Zealand homes as it is lighter, stronger, more durable and lower maintenance than timber. Today’s joinery is also much better than that commonly seen in 1980’s homes as design and construction have significantly improved.
Louvre Windows
Older louvre windows are commonly draughty and do not comply with modern Healthy Homes requirements as the gaps between glass panes do not create an airtight seal when closed. We offer a simple and cost effective solution where we insert an awning window into the existing timber frame (see photos). This approach can be completed quickly with minimal finishing work required (i.e. touch up painting etc) making it a great option for tenanted properties.
Sliding Windows & Doors
Upgrading a window to a sliding door, or installing a door into an existing wall are both popular ways to increase natural light and improve access to your space.
If your slider is no longer moving smoothly and freely this can often be fixed by repairing or replacing the rollers and/or mechanisms. When doors are dated or damaged however it is often better to upgrade the door. We’ll source a new or second hand product to match the style of your home or business.
French or Bifold Windows & Doors
French doors and bifold doors provide fantastic accessibility and open up any space. There are different benefits of each door style and we can help you decide on the best option for your space.
Repairs are more common on french and bifold door systems due to the number of panels so it’s important to get them looked at as soon as you notice an issue to ensure that it doesn’t turn into a bigger problem.
Entry Doors
The entrance to your home or property is the first thing that visitors see so why not make it special! It’s also extremely important to ensure this gateway to your home is secure.
There are a wide range of entrance doors on the market and we understand this is an important decision for a lot of people. If you need some advice we’re happy to help, we can source and install the perfect door based on your preferences. Or if you’d like to choose it yourself we can fit glass in your preferred door, or simply install your pre-purchased door, handle and locking system.

No matter the material, a door is a door and we hang them all!
Internal doors are a fantastic way to divide spaces - especially when glazed. Our experience extends to minor building works including resizing existing windows or doors and erecting new walls.
